Services That Social Media Influencers Should Be Subscribed To

Previously, we talked about apps that every influencer and content creator should check out to utilize for organization and create beautiful content. They are easy to use and available for both iPhone and Android users! In this post, we are taking it a step further and talking about services and subscriptions that are actually worth the price and why every influencer should consider their cost as an investment into their business (plus they are write offs for tax season).

services worth the subscription for influencers and content creators

Without further ado, here are five services that are worth the cost!

A Domain + Blog Host

If you want to be taken seriously for blog collaborations and plan to use your website for gift guides, sharing links, etcetera, then you want to invest in a domain and blog host. While lots of services, like wix and wordpress, offer free urls and hosting services, having a url that is your own and part of your brand really steps up your game.

Popular services like Squarespace and WordPress offer a domain for one year, for free, with the cost of their upgraded plans.

GoDaddy is also a major domain seller and often sells matching email addresses along with the domain.

Best practice is to match your url and Instagram name (and really across all platforms) to make it easier for people to find and follow all your content.

I personally use WordPress and love how many templates people have created to be able to customize and create a look I love.

Canva Pro

If the ability to easily remove backgrounds from your images (perfect for LTK and other content creation) isn’t enough to convince you, Canva Pro comes with the ability to easily create content with your brand colors (keep that feed matching with premade templates), resize your posts for cross posting, 75+ million premium stock photos, videos, audio, and graphics free-to-use, fonts for elevating your reels and stories and even pre made templates for tik toks and reels.

Photoshop and/or Lightroom

You can totally pick and choose which one suits your needs best, but Adobe created the Creative Cloud so you wouldn’t have to. Adobe Creative Cloud is a set of applications and services from Adobe Inc. that gives subscribers access to a collection of software used for graphic design, video editing, web development, photography, along with a set of mobile applications. This gives you the ability to use all your fav mobile presets for quick posting on the go, but also the ability to edit from your desktop for more complicated edits and campaigns.

InShot or Capcut

Either of these two editing apps are what all of your favorite TikTokers and Reel creators are using to make those transitions crisp and clean, and for fun edits where it looks like they walked through a lamppost and it magically changed their outfit, or how they make two of them on the screen in one video. It’s a must for anyone looking to grow with Reels and on TikTok (aka all of us taking, right?)

A Scheduling Service

Free up some of your important time and excel at work life balance with Instagram planners that take the hassle out of managing and scheduling your Instagram feed. Some can even schedule and post your stories for you.

Preview is a surprisingly robust solution as far as Instagram planners go, allowing you to schedule, design, edit, and analyze your Instagram business account all in one place.

PlannThat offers important features like the ability to edit, upload, and schedule Instagram stories.
